Huawei, the Chinese phone titan, was
applauded for the release of the exceptional handset Mate 8 under its flagship
device series of Mate last year. Mate 8 had an exemplary performance owing to
Huawei’s Kirin processor
supplemented with an incredible battery performance of 2 days.
Now, with Samsung beaten up due to dismal
performance and battery leak issues of its Galaxy Note 7, Huawei is expected to
launch the next in its arsenal of Mate phablet series, the curvy edged Mate 9

well ahead of the likely public reveal.

Opinion
The phablet offers impressive top-end
specifications designed for a flagship phone in its leaked images. The reduced
competition from Samsung due to the Galaxy Note 7 fiasco will help Huawei’s
Mate 9 to take a leap right from its unveiling. Hopefully, the phablet will
overcome the cons such as Emoticon UI overlay and the ugly looking speaker
grill of its previous Mate 8 version. Well, let us wait and watch till Nov 3rd
to unveil the truth.
